Pauline McGettigan

Pauline McGettigan is the Administration Manager of Bastion Life Insurance SPC Limited.

Pauline’s initial professional background was in Education. 

She graduated with an Honors Degree in Education from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and has more than twenty years experience gained in places as diverse as Ireland, Turks and Caicos Islands and the Cayman Islands.

Pauline has resided and worked in the Cayman Islands for the last sixteen years and has Cayman citizenship.

In the Cayman Islands, Pauline has worked at Principal, Head of Department and classroom level in the educational area.    

During her career, she has obtained extensive experience in the areas of management, administration, training, technology, organization and planning.

Pauline is based in the Bastion Life office in Grand Cayman and is responsible for office management and administration with particular focus on:

• Production and dispatch of Bastion Life Policy Illustrations
• Arrangement of client visits to Grand Cayman
• Processing of all Bastion Life insurance applications
• Liaison with Munich Re in the processing of all Bastion Life Policy applications and the underwriting of each policy
• Liaison with Milliman USA in relation to actuarial issues and US compliance requirements
• Liaison with Bastion Life’s Licensed Insurance Manager
• Liaison with Bastion Life’s international investment and asset managers
• Arranging seminars
